 Hello, I am Coach Jay McCleary, the current coach of The Intruders 10U team. With over 20 years of experience in coaching youth baseball and softball, including 10 years in fastpitch softball. I believe in improvement through encouragement and emphasize teaching proper mechanics in hitting, throwing, pitching, and catching to prevent injuries.

I have engaging drills that reinforce essential skills for lifelong play. While our team mainly competes locally, we plan to travel further in Michigan and Ohio as the players grow older. I also support participation in local little leagues to enhance practice and leadership skills. Although the girls may not win every game, they will continually improve each time they step onto the field.

 Coach Marcus Snyder played competitive baseball at a high level into his mid-20s and brings 30 years of coaching experience across various levels. His coaching career spans Little League, Middle School, High School, and travel softball. He has trained numerous players and assisted in their recruiting process, including dozens of softball players and one exceptional baseball player. This includes colleges ranging from Juco to D1. His coaching philosophy centers on the belief that hard work and persistence pay off. He emphasizes that coachable children will succeed on the field, which translates into a successful adulthood.

 My name is Tracy Ault, and I am the coach of the 15U Intruders fastpitch softball team. Over the years, I have enjoyed coaching T-ball, Little League, Babe Ruth League Baseball, and softball for 10U, 12U, and 14U teams. I have spent many evenings and weekends cheering on my kids in school and travel sports. My favorite part of coaching is teaching and watching players become more confident and improve their skills.

 Coach Todd Coon has been coaching softball for over 20 years, from recreational leagues to travel teams and high school. His approach focuses on fostering an inclusive, team-centered environment dedicated to player development and building strong relationships. Coach Coon collaborates with private skills coaches to understand what his players are working on, blending their lessons into his practice plans to ensure consistent messaging in hitting, fielding, and pitching.

 A seasoned coach with nearly a decade of experience in The Intruders organization, he brings 14 years of coaching expertise, focusing on competitive teams from youth levels up to 16U. He firmly believes that loyalty, love for the game, dedication, and the continuous refinement of one’s skills will translate into leadership abilities that benefit individuals throughout their lives. His passion for both the game and the players has consistently led to outstanding results on the field.  

Coach Matt Ward's passion for the game was ignited through his own competitive playing experience in his teens and twenties, with 14 years of coaching under his belt, including a decade of leading travel teams across Southeast Michigan. He empowers young athletes to unlock their full potential, witnessing players grow. The confidence of dogs realizing their dreams fuels his dedication to the sport.

Coach Ambrielle Duncan's passion for competitive ball ignited during her 13-year playing career, including her time as an Intruder, where she discovered her love for teaching and mentoring young players. Upon retiring, she dedicated herself to empowering young women to pursue their dreams, driven by her own enthusiasm for sports, the outdoors, and personal growth through reading. 

 Coach Russ Huff, having competed in baseball and boxing well into his 30s, channels his competitive drive into a coaching career, inspiring young athletes to reach their full potential through discipline, persistence, and determination, with nearly 7 years of experience guiding students from Little League to middle school and travel ball.
